"All the planting of mango was spoiled by the rain"

Name: AYDEE SAAVEDRA

Location: Caserío The Huaquilla, Morropón Province, Piura region

Activities: Farmer

"This year Climate change has affected mango production, was quite cold in May and was debited low production. Last year in November  bloomed and spoiled by the rain, no use has been made that product because all the mangoes fell through. The rain has rotted all mango planting, in these conditions we can not sell our crop in the markets. Nobody wants to buy rotten mangoes. Farmers often have no conscience and burned grass, this also causes changes in climate. So it is important that we do activities such as water harvesting. Some are already working on it "
